LOCAL UNION ELECTION

Election for officers of Local 877 shall be by a secret ballot, conducted by mail referendum. The printing, mailing, receiving and tabulating of all ballots shall be conducted and supervised by the New Jersey State Board of Mediation, 50 Park Place, 7th Floor, Newark, N.J. (609) 984-7676. In order to vote in the election, a member must be in good standing and have their dues paid through October 2011. Members may pay all dues arrearages, initiation or reinstatement fees at the Local 877 office until 4:00 P.M. on Monday, October 31, 2011.

Ballots will be mailed to each active member of Local 877 at that member’s last known address, on or about October 14, 2011. Returned voted ballots must be received by the New Jersey State Board of Mediation at a post office box designated for the receipt of the ballots, no later than 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in order to be counted in this election.

Members who do not receive a ballot in the mail by October 21, 2011 may request a replacement ballot be sent to them. If more than one ballot is received from a member, only the latest post-marked ballot shall be eligible to be counted in this election. Requests for replacement ballots should be made directly to the New Jersey State Board of Mediation, 50 Park Place, 7th Floor, Newark, N.J.
